Forest Ridge Summer Olympics |

 Chess Tournament
Over two days during the summer break, students competed in a “Summer Olympics” tournament between all six Forest Ridge cottages. Events included in this years Summer Olympics were: Volleyball, Chase Race, Music Mania Trivia, Softball, Chess, Spelling Bee, and a Cottage Banner Design Contest.  Softball Tournament  Spelling Bee Points were awarded for first, second, third, and fourth place in each of the competitions. The cottage that scored the most points was recognized during the Olympics closing ceremony. “It was great! It gave me a chance to get to know and trust the other girls in my cottage,” said one of the participants. |
